Pienaar Signs for Spurs...

Wise up lads - he'd have been out the door in June for nothing - he made that pretty much clear (unless we broke the bank to pay him stellar wages - money we clearly DO NO HAVE). So - based on the statement on the OS we've 'accepted an offer' - leaving Pienaar to negotiate the details (presumably after the weekend). If we've 'accepted an offer' that means a fee - if Pienaar agreed a pre-contract agreement (which he could have done) he'd be staying till the end of the season. This is definitely the best we could do in the circumstances.

You have no idea what the terms offered were. How do you know whether he was being unreasonable or not?

Pienaar was leaving regardless.. Least we are getting some cash for him.
 
Good luck to him.

It's just one of those things really, if you aren't in Europe, show little ambition in the transfer market and can't pay big wages, things like this will happen.

There's no figures, and you wont find any. We've offered him a contract extension and we'll have to guess whether he was being outrageous or within reason. The point people are making is this: we've just watched a top class player walk out the door for the sake of securing his wages.

where did you get Nugent from???? fuk that....Well if we do get Adam or Eagles then so be it...Wouldn't mind a few more british players in the team...Sic of these foreigners holding the club to ransom for wage demands..
 
Clearly he'd only be able to go to a 2nd tier Champions League club tho, it's not like a Chelsea, Inter or Bayern would want him.

We watched a decent player, walk out the door for more money, regardless of playing time..
