The racism incident at Cagliari came long after another series of incidents that highlighted the problem with his attitude and Juve fans were long fed up with it . The media made it look like he was leaving Italy because of the racism whereas in truth he was being booted out as our offer was too good to refuse , they were getting a great sum and getting rid of a problem , you got to ask howcome no other clubs were in for him if he is so talented ?

Which series of incidents? Can you give an example, please?

Not like you to come across like a bad racist mate. Oh no sorry, it is.

Great bit of scouting on this lad: cant score, ignores club rules, spends cash like a drunken sailor on bling and rubs it in the fans' faces.

Hats off to all those who did due dilligence on him. Well done.

FFS, even Souness knew the score more than our DoF.

I’m not biting today

he’s 19

Exactly. Being late to a couple of meetings doesn't make him Saidho Berahinho.

I sometimes wish transfer fees were kept secret. He's a young guy in a foreign country and he's got to shoulder that £25m transfer fee which brings with it a load of expectations.

In an ideal world he'd disappear into the squad to get up to speed with the game here and his fellow teammates and be rolled out for league cup appearances or 10 minutes at the end of games towards the latter part of the season. Instead he gets the microscope treatment.

Even Henry took time to adjust to English football. This kid has way less top level experience than he did when he arrived in Arsenal.

Both Moise Kean and Tosun are decent strikers (not saying magnificent, mind) DCL follows them behind (Niasse is awful tho) problem is our non creative midfield (especially when Siggy and Schnieds playing) established with Marco's boring tactics. When the new managers arrive we will then post very different things for the kid in this very thread.

Atm the best thing to do is defending Iwobi to always play the number 10 aka playmaker position. He is creating the best environment for our strikers.

The kid has an attitude problem , everyone that follows Italian football knew it , why do you think Juve fans were glad to see the back of him ? It had been disguised as a racist issue but I don't see them wanting to get rid of Alex Sandro , Matuidi and Cuadrado!

Good god we have gone through a timewarp back to the 1970s. Racism was wrong then also mate.

...I think you have the striker pecking order wrong. Regardless, I think it’s almost a case of who is the least worst than who is the best.

Well Marco's system makes it like "the least worst should play" decision. Anyway, we will never know their true potential unless the new guy takes the job and only then we can judge them in a healthy way
