We can't just accumulate players, that is one reason we are in this mess. If we spunk 20/30 million on a half decent midfielder what happens when Gbamin/Gomes/Bernard come back. That is what Delph is here for.

Tbh I think if we lost a load of players to injury it probably wouldn't effect us much as least we would have a settled team and Silva wouldn't blow a gasket trying to work out what his best 11 is. Clubs like utd might be able to keep a massive squad happy but we won't and it has to be part of the reason.

Remember the Moyes days when we didn't even have a bench, least you had a core of happy professionals. Apart from Pickford and Digne no one knows if they are going to play one week to the next.
 

18 months in hes currently failing at his job when you consider its the DOF's role to set up a style of play and bring in players to compliment it.

What is our 'style' or 'philosophy' ???

Either Brands has failed or the manager is making a pigs ear of it - in which case why isnt he in Moshiri's ear asking for the manager to be axed with a proper manager in place capable of building the team.

In that time we have gone from Ashley Williams and Jags in defence to the best CB in world football and young Mason Nesta.

If it wasnt for VAR and that bloody Son his team would be sitting pretty in 3rd.

Imagine what this man will do when he doesnt have to try and make somebody take Sandro and Bolasie on loan, almost 200k a week in wages just burning in the back garden.

14 players, every single 1 an utter baller.

The only question for me is do we make the statue solid gold or just gold plating?

Those December fixtures will be keeping him up all night I suspect, but lots and lots of "expected defeats",

Every game is indeed very winnable, it would be a perfect chance to string a few wins together and really kick on.

Really fancy our chances of taking a scalp.
 

Crocks, no marks and refuseniks he signed last summer.

What a palaver.

Get shut of him and we'll be quids in and far better off on the pitch.

Back to the old system of manager ruling the roost, please.
