To be fair normally you think you've pulled Kelly Brooke only to wake up realising you've been to Brown Town with Pat Butcher. On a random note - I once took a woman home from Pop World (slipped on some ice coming down the stairs and rugby tackled her in the back) all seemingly went well until in the morning I noticed her knickers on the floor absolutely full of skids.

I used to, especially on 3rd round day in the sixties.
For us at least, guaranteed full house if drawn at home safe in the knowledge we would be in with chance of going far.

1967 6th round
1968 finalists
1969 semis
1970 3rd round consolation prize of League Champions.
Weren't we good then?

Don't get me started on United ruining the cup when they swerved it to play in some jarg tournament.

Haller looks a great signing thus far if he can carry on his Eintracht form. I don’t think Lanzini, Felipe Anderson, Diop or even Yarmolenko would look out of place in a top six side. Very good players but match fitness and injuries were a huge issue for them last year. They essentially lost 5 or 6 of their 1st choice XI for half the season.

Rice a good young player too. Pellegrini a very experienced manager who’s been successful everywhere he’s been. Seem to have many of the ingredients, particularly in attack but need it all to click.

They offered to put a 2nd string out didnt they and Im sure it was the powers that be forced the decision,I think the premier league money killed it off more,the tempation to play weakened teams to chase the filthy lucre,though I cant understand a midtable side not going all out for it

Some of my greatest memories as a blue involve the cup.
Not just seeing us win it twice in my lifetime.
I mean the semis at Villa park etc..

I love it,some of my favourite games have been fa cup ones,setting off to Plymouth the night before the game,Stoke getting flooded with blues,kidnapping a vicar at Notts County,Inchys goal at Highbury,the sheer joy of seeing us lift the cup nothing like it,its the greatest ko tournament in the world
