I genuinely thought they would be well behind with var ruling out their constant dodgy decisions. More fool me, its basically being used to gift them the league.

Thats the thing though. They had a daft arm pit off side against them, and 2, I think, odd decisions against them at Old Trafford. I regularly speak to a RS and a Chelsea fan, and they both agree that every club has been done, and every club have benefited. Its just crap.

Careful, that doesn't suit the "VAR was brought in so the rs can win the league" agenda that people seem to have on here. Refs are rubbish, refs run VAR therefore VAR is rubbish.

I have never bought the corruption angle. Might be wrong like, but one thing is for sure, the ridiculous way its been managed has done nothing to counter the corruption claims.

The Premier League have made a huge horlicks of it. I wish they'd just take it away, as do most fans I believe. Maybe have a video studio for the obvious Henchoz/Hansen handballs off the line, and obvious 2 yard offside goals, but other than that just let the refs make the mistakes on the pitch, at least they were seen as honest mistakes whereas people think you can ref perfectly when you see more angles. You can't, and that makes people think it's bent rather than just a mistake being made due to interpretation.

When they cant be consistent over a match weekend never mind over a season then it's killing the game. Decisions for top of the table Liverpool today yet shef united punished only the day before? Handball in the box not being given now? Nothing fouls costing team games or perfectly valid goals being disallowed?

It's a cancer in the sport sadly. Give it the benefit of doubt but it's killing the lower teams off now. A team could well go down this season because of var unjustly costing them.

The problem is there are no strict guidelines. It's screws everyone and benefits everyone aswell.
You can't say one team has only benefited from it and never been screwed by it.

VAR seemed very very fast today.
