VAR has just dragged it into the open, none of the decisions against us were even remotely contentious (Alli was a penally, Sanchez on Richarlison was a penalty and Sanchez should have been sent off), and yet none were given.

The sooner the super league happens and the big clubs can go and play their stage managed wresting equivalent the better.

Refs are terrified of giving a decision against a 'big' team. If this happened against the RS then Son would be banned for eight weeks. Klopp would have gone insane! They would have petitioned against VAR because it was a penalty and Keane's wasn't.
 

I understand where your coming from but on this one as long as its objective and there is consistently proven that abody part is in an offside position with those lines they use then around the league then the system will work. As harsh as big toe or hand offside calls will be to the team whose goal is disallowed. Its the subjective calls like the Alli handball and Keane penalty after accidently stepping on a foot while looking at the ball in the sky is hwere the massive inconsistencies and controversy lie in my opinion. Again harsh of Sheffield here but shown on tv to be right.......

I know technology can help just how about getting rid of the laser beams? if you are using freaking laser beams for ultra close calls than guess what you can always rotate the screen to get the result you want.

Spurs again benefitting from VAR but I'm sure even Spurs fans would know they've gotten away with one there.

Thankfully Sheff United equalised again later.

Goals are being stopped by semantics, its not really in the nature of entertainment to do so

Definitely hurts the entertainment factor but also harms the sporting element too. As I have said before on this issue, the offside rule is to stop goalhanging; enforcing it because someone has their toenail offside in the build up play just makes no sense at all.
