I think if you played the lineup from West Ham and dropped Schneiderlin in for Gomes we would not notice any real difference. Gomes was really good that day but I thought the real key was the linkup between Bernard, Iwobi, Walcott, Davies and the fullbacks. Unfortunately Bernard's injury has killed that.

I mean he is far from the only midfielder we have that is overly cautious. Davies might be the only one who isn't.

Honestly kind of feel the same way. I can't see a way in which this isn't an ugly game in which the best we can do is keep a clean sheet and sneak a goal or two. It just looks like a game that ends in frustration regardless of the result.

With Cenk and Gylfi starting I’ll have to try find a way to watch the game in x2 speed
