ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Penalties that RS gets are really very soft and their conversion rate is almost 100%. Beggars belief really.

Klopp is still complaining about busy fixture schedule and he has a point. However, he doesn’t care about their performance in the league cup, he said it himself in post match conference. Their starting lineup consisted handful of academy players and no one from that team was a regular first team players. So I don’t understand his problem. Why don’t he just play with kids in all the cup matches instead of forfeiting the game ? Even his reaction post Origi equaliser in the last minute was telling - he wanted to get done with the competition.

I think he fears that someday his B team will be thrashed by a more organised team which actually takes the competition seriously. That would impact the morale of the squad and maybe that’s why he is more inclined to forfeit it. Very disrespectful IMO

I just hope they don’t win a thing this season and Klopp is gone to Bayern in the summer.

Other British supporters tend to be like that, but the Spanish, the Germans, and a few other nationalities such as Turks like them. The Italians for obvious reasons and most Eastern European nationalities don't like them at all. As you say most supporters from Britain strongly dislike them, the fact that nearly everybody mocks them about Gerrard slipping over is a testament to that. They're like the Jimmy Saville of football, popular with the BBC, do the odd bit of charity, but most people know there's something not right about them.

Its still a bugbear of mine that when I meet new people in Belgium and tell them I'm from Liverpool they immediately ask about flipping LFC.

I spend far too much of my life explaining why I hate them. To make matters worse, most of them think Everton are from London.
