Marco Silva has praised Everton’s second half performance in the 2-0 victory over Watford.



Silva told evertonfc.com: “We achieved our goal, which was to win and reach the next round. We want to stay in this competition and we will do our maximum to go to the end.



“We were the better team and deserved the win, we created chances to score even if it was tough to get the ball in the net again.



“But the players showed the patience we need in this type of game, against a team with a solid block, five at the back, and three midfielders.

“Never lose your patience” - except with Kean? Sound, like, the sub worked but Iwobi and Richy were also garbo first half and survived the cull.

Just seems a funny way to build up the confidence of a young lad who desperately needs some. Hopefully Marco’s a genius and we’ll get a few goals out of Kean in the second half of the season once he’s up to speed.
