Is it time to panic?

28 games left and 13 of them against the big six and Leicester . On current form can anybody see much good from those games ? That leaves 15 games against the rest which on current form will yield 15 points . Time to panic.. absolutely ...!! Need to appoint a good manager and back room team from somewhere quickly. Not sure who or how but if we keep going as we are we are in big trouble .. !

Yes, I'd expect us to beat Arsenal, Spurs and Leicester at home.

I really do think he deserves to get two more years.

He beat gumaria 2-1 whilst in charge of estoril. We can not deny his talent. He just needs time to implement his style.

Being around the relegation zone isn't anything to be worrying about, not with silva in charge.
The mark of a true champion.

Starting next week mate I really hope you are right . But I thought we would win yesterday and beat Sheffield United and Villa !

Sheffield United at home yes, abysmal result.

Villa have been alright and that was a weird game. But overall the away form should be enough for him to be sacked anyway.

At some point we will have a decent run and finish lower mid table. But it's not good enough and Silva isn't up to the job. He will go soon or at the end of the season either or.

I reckon this is the year.

We have been poor for the past decade, constant failure and embarrassment, but always surviving. This now just looks hopeless, a poor team with the weakest of weak mentality. A poor manager with what looks like no fight or belief in himself. Haven't turned a game around yet with him that we have gone behind in. Too many injuries already. Have only played 1 of the top 6 and we've been beaten 6 times already. We haven't even gotten to the Christmas fixture pile up yet a period we have never performed well in.

Time to panic, too right.
That's the thing though we have good players it's their mentality the coaching and tactics largely to blame for me. That and the players being cowards.

No.

I mean, it depends on your definition of "panic" I guess. Sacking Silva isn't panicking; it's actually the sensible thing to do.

We'll stay up comfortably and finish around 12th or something. Look at just how bad we've been and we're still not in the relegation zone.

The last 25 years, really.

Given the absolute mismanagement of this club since the PL started it is a miracle we have not been relegated at least once in that period.

But we won’t keep defying gravity forever.

And right now 40 points looks an awfully long way off IMO.

We remind me of Villa in the seasons leading up to them going down. We are a shambles. Brands needs to find us a competent manager and NOW!

You'd think they'd all, especially Moshiri, want to make the change asap. That stadium is well and truly finished if we are playing in the championship.

The only reason I can think of as to why Silva is still here is because there are no decent managers available who would take the job.

I would look at Bielsa at Leeds because I think it's going to take a really strong character to come in and change the mentality of thses players.
