I think Silva can have no qualms about being sacked but when it happens attention on this forum will quickly turn to how poor this set of players are. The amount of money we have wasted is frightening.
Oh agreed. The weird thing is that with a few exceptions the generally “cheaper” signings have been the better performers too

The players we buy clearly don't have the strong mentality or expectation on them to win away, the coach doesn't. The board talks about expected defeats. There's a losers culture from top to bottom. Until that changes not much will.

That's the thing mate, I hate using them as an example, but when you look at that RS squad you don't think too yourself "WOW, top quality" the one thing they do have running through it that is top quality is that winning, never giving up mentality.

Yeah the last few years its gone through the roof, the fans on twitter, the people on here, its really bad.

Mo money mo problems.

24 years is a very long time.

I think it's the realisation that those who run the club don't have the same idea of success as the fans. The longer it goes with no success the worse it will get too. It's a vicious circle.

I think our support is quite impressive in many ways though. We fill every away end despite knowing there's a 90% chance the team won't give anywhere near their best efforts. We fill Goodison every home league game. There will probably be 35k or more there on Tuesday night. Those players and the manager don't really deserve it.

Digne needed to deal with that ball with a bit of composure
He doesn’t go for it then it’s a tap in for Murray (I think) at the back post. He goes for it and it’s an own goal. It was a nice if not basic passage of play and chance created by Brighton and something ourselves are totally incapable of creating.

Isn,t every club infested with this so called Toxic fan base ....
Surely every club in the Prem wants success, its not achievable to all and sundry.
We can all point the finger at who ever .. Allardyce kept us in the Prem in my opinion doing the job he was brought in for .......
We are stagnant both on the players and the managements front..........
Manager after manager has come and gone recently... stability is a necessity until then we will just roll along
I think Silva is Not in any shape or form the answer to Our problems
