Everton and VAR

he can.

We were comfortable, they had one shot on target all game which was Pickford's massive blunder.

They have been gifted a penalty that isn't a penalty. Why wasnt Richarlison's even checked even though he was rugby tackled?

We were comfortable. We needed another but you should be expecting VAR to get something that blatently obvious correct.
He cant.....have you watched us away to any team in the last few years....were not comfortable even if where 3-0 up away from home with 15 minutes left never mind 2-1 up with that amount of time on the clock. We crumble as soon as we are put under any pressure. Time and time again we shoot ourselves in the foot.

I said you can be unsatisfied with the performance and still complain about VAR, it really isn't that complicated

And that’s the only reaction you deem acceptable?

Dissatisfied with the performance and complaining about VAR = Reasonable

Dissatisfied with the performance and NOT complaining about VAR = Unreasonable + ivory tower.

Never mentioned that.
The penalty we conceded was the correct decision. Clutching at straws and missing the bigger picture if you think we're 16th because of VAR

Where have I ever even touched on blaming our shocking form on VAR? Completely unrelated and unintelligent point. We are 16th because Marco Silva is an absolute fraud stealing a living from our club. We lost today, however, because of a disgraceful decision made by (you guessed it) VAR

It’s just his opinion, why are you trying to censor people for having a different opinion?

I’m getting more and more convinced that the sport needs to revolutionize the way it handles fouls in the box. They need to introduce an in-between call so that it’s not either a penalty or nothing. Maybe it’s a “penalty” kick taken from the edge of the box... I don’t know.

The fact that teams are now being rewarded free goals on situations where they weren’t even in a goal scoring situation is not right. Think about today’s call - in essence, there was a 50-50 ball in the air, and a player accidentally had his foot stepped on. That’s it. No one even had possession of the ball. And the result was that a team was awarded a near-certain goal. Just for that. That’s so incredibly harsh based on that situation. Goals are far too valuable to be given for such a light offense.

I know this will never happen, and most of you will think this is an insane stance. But I can’t help but think it would be better than what we have now.
I agree with sentiment of your post but this is calling for a change in the laws of the game - it's nothing to do with VAR.

I dont disagree we are awful away from home mate. But today, Brighton had nothing in them at all, we were comfortable, not brilliant, not blowing them away but comfortable, which at the moment when there is clearly so little cohesion and confidence is fine and at least we weren't looking nervous we were not under pressure.

We didnt shoot outselves in the foot, the referees did it.

It doesn't excuse the capitulation afterwards, although such a decision obviously changes the momentum. It is fair to say that without that horrendous decision we looked fairly safe to see the game out.

I’m not. Quite the opposite in fact, I’m encouraging him to elaborate on his statement that my opinion was ‘unreasonable’.

As far as I can see, there’s only one person (possibly two now you’re here) that is trying to shut down conversation.

So he was right that VAR lost us the match? If one is a foul, so is the other.

I agree though that we aren’t 16th because of VAR, but we did lose because of VAR today.

It’s his opinion that you’re unreasonable, he’s entitled to it.

VAR is not to blame. The laws of the game were applied correctly.
And could we please have less of your unnecessary personal insults

that's not anything close to what I have stated.

You are either on a wind up or too dumb to comprehend a basic point, either way not worth anyone's time on a saturday
