It's a controversial issue that I'd usually consider over my head. But the fact that he's doing any sort to military salute in support of a war isn't at all acceptable to me, whether he's on international duty or not. There's no place for that in football.

There are two Lille (France) and one Juventus player next to him there in the photo doing the exact salute. Soyuncu from Leicester did the same. It seems like group psychology in home soil, not giving much thought in it, the heat of moment.
