He knows the club and will probably do better back here than in with his previous clubs.
He'll probably get the fight back into it.

It'll take a while to get a top four squad without stupid spending
and if he could get us back to europe
everton would then be in a position to get in the manager we need and want.

Probably worth giving him a couple of seasons to see.

Again what's this based on? the playing squad, back room structure and ownership have all change vastly since he was here

I don't get this he knows the club virtually everything has changed since he left from boardroom to players

Fair point but in one word -mentality.
I'd say the players, backroom staff, ownership could use a bit of it.

Whether he's still got it is another question.
But maybe worth trying to find out.

He seems the type of guy who enjoys bearing a cross, no, needs to (not a united mentality btw)
and gets others around him to do the same thing.

Any coach coming in is going to have a difficult time of it. Everton is not an easy sloution to solve.
Just saying, until we can get to the point of bringing in a Simone, Conte, we need something different first.
We really missed an opportunity with Bielsa.

Yeah but the fans haven’t. Our principles and values as a club haven’t. Players and staff come and go but Everton lasts forever.

Horrible, though we are.

It may be that we don't need a top level tactically astute coach right now.
Rather we need two players who can run it on the pitch.
For a brief time we had Moyes and Arteta,
another more defensive arteta, and a vardy or kane and that side becomes formidable.
and then your in a position to scout the best coach for europe.

Always maintain Marinez sucked off the tit of what had been built before.

What you've got at the moment is a guy who has led the team deep into a cul de sac, has no clue of how to find his way out and is incapable of fighting his way out of a wet paper bag. The signs were there early on that this is where we were going. I don't think you see the same thing from Moyes.

If you listened to the fans half of them would have us turned into Burnley full of absolute cloggers just because they work dead hard
