Before any moans about VAR, football is the only sport to become worse after introducing technology, every other sport has thrived.
The only obvious thing about VAR is its adding to the confusion, no one seems to understand when and what it can be used for and seems to change weekly, and as ive said a million times, its still just a person watching a screen making up what he thinks is right or wrong which will always be subjective-one foul one week will be given while the next week by a different VAR wont etc, it will never be 100% ever-i would have not have had it,and would get rid of it-Refs are scared to do anything probably thinking VAR will help them while at other times VAR is not used when some stuff is so clear
Goal line was the best thing to happen, and all i ever wanted,VAR was always going to be a disaster and no one should be surprised by this.
Goal line technology yes.
Everything else. NO.
VAR OUT
Its such a load of nonsense. Even if they get the VAR decisions right is still doesn't make the game any fairer because there could be 50 dodgy decisions all over the pitch that don't get reviewed because the game is flowing.
Fans need to unite against it.
Completely agree with that about offside tbf. The rule is tiredI can’t believe I am saying this but Jaime Carragher made a good point today about the Chelsea VAR.
He thinks the offside rule should be changed so a player’s whole body should be in an offside position, not merely his big toe or his nose as it is at present.
These pedantic offsides are what is annoying people most.
Whatever happened to the sensible idea of the “attacker having the benefit of the doubt”?
