Okay... if I was in charge, I'd go for something like this on wednesday:

Howard
Coleman Jags Distin Baines
Fellaini
Arteta ------------ Pienaar
Bilyaletdinov
Beckford Anichebe

Key points:

Arteta further forward, as Fellaini's good enough to patrol the back himself, and Arteta's been woeful of late. He needs to be less deep, and high enough up the pitch to have a real impact.

Bily needs a chance, and one centrally too. Not left or right mid.

2 strikers. Anichebe; the muscle, Beckford; the pace.

Although spurs are a lethal attacking force, I say fight fire with fire. Better to lose knowing you went for it, than lose with 0 goals scored and nothing new learned.

I wrote a whole long tactical argument against that, but i managed to accidentally delete it. Meh.

Im actually going to Goodison for this.

Not sure why though.

I know its hard, but keep the head up. Im going also and the missus is going too and shes a bit of a lucky charm. She,s been to about 10 games with me over the last few years and we have never been beaten.

I,ve lost all hope in the players so im pinning all my hope on my 4 leaf clover and luck of the irish.

Come on lads, we all know that we put up a decent show for games like this.

Now...if we could only get the team up for Wigan, Bolton, West Brom, Wolves and Newcastle at home, THEN we'd be sorted.

I hope Arteta isn't even in the country for this game.

It is a bit flawed. Very, maybe.

I'm just yearning for change tbh. I'm past caring what's good or bad, potentially. All I know is everything we're doing now is [Poor language removed] and broken.

Yeahh, you're right there. And will Moyes change anything? Will he fcuk

So Cahill isnt playing? If so the formation (without changing it too much) should be:

Howard

Neville - Jagielka - Distin - Baines

Coleman - Arteta - Fellaini - Pienaar

Bily

Beckford

However, its tempting to play Hibbert, as more protection on the right against Bale (whatever you think, he can tackle)...and Yakubu if he is fit.

Would love to see Bily in the Cahill role though (when we dont hoof), he doesnt need to be fast, he can just pass the ball to each wing, and shoot when he recieves it.

Saying all that i reckon a Everton 1-3 Tottenham scoreline
