Like a life long supporter of the senior club in the city?

I think it's only natural that successful businessmen ( to one extent or the other ), who are Blues, would like to help the club become as successful as possible and might therefore offer their services in some capacity to the BoD.

I think it's equally natural that the BoD and owners would prefer to deal with, and employ people who they think are the best people for the job and perhaps have used before in other areas, and it's more likely than not that the two are mutually exclusive.

Incidentally, I'd wager that the vast majority of supporters are "life long", so, in itself, that means very little.

There mates, usmanov helped him out, that's all.
If usmanov was involved we would be in the cl right now and the stadium would be half built right now. Moshiri wouldn't be running around saying "50m is monopoly money" and then buying dross.

Usmanov would have gazidis here in a heart beat.

Usmanov will help, no doubt but he wouldn't let the club become this sloppy in terms of manager and player recruitment, there clearly moshiris decisions.

You really think that's how it works?

Why would we want Gazidis here?

Under him Arsenal and Milan have both gone backwards at an alarming rate.

If it’s so easy for a multi billionaire to walk in and get a new stadium built. How come Chelsea and Liverpool are still waiting.

Senior club in the city is so cringe.

We arent the best, just the oldest.

Despite its tradition of rum, sodomy and the lash, the Royal Navy also takes pride in being known as the senior service.

I think its something we should also be justly proud of. If the kopites were senior club in the city it would be attached to everything.

Pretty much, he will have figured out you need quality players and a world class manager to get into the cl, from his time at arsenal.
Gazidis is his main man, he would be here if he was involved. He would never let the club sign a manager at the level of Silva with this much money available for transfers
