New Everton Stadium Discussion

im not so sure.. I totally understand the health and safety regs around things like ths, and the size and proportion, plus where they are situated will properly detract from any atmosphere created... it will all get lost down those massive voids..

plus we will need 1000's of ball boys ready to chase the thunderous strikes that often go miles wide which will end up going down these humungous tunnels
Understanding health and safety regs is not quite the same as understanding acoustics...

almost 60 in ours ..

and we 10,000 down on capacity

plus ours are huge compared to theirs
17 behind the goal we can see, assume another 17 in the end where the photo was taken, add on the 31 clearly visible and maybe another 5/6 or more and you're at 70/70+

im not counting the end where we cant see ours.

we clearly have more , far bigger exits

it will be like a sieve for sound

plus a stadium which holds 10,000 less fans will not need the same amount of exits.

Of course it will Frank. How silly of Dan Meis to continually mention atmosphere then ignore your expert advice. He's on Twitter, best give him a heads up

That pic is not the planned stadium, the west stand does not have 3 tiers and the south stand will not be that big.

They're using it everywhere as the flagship image and it's not on tbh.

The actual stadium looks completely different and generic if anyone can be bothered finding an actual picture of that angle.
Dont know what your beef is here fella.
The club & Meiss have consistantly told us they are not the final renderings.
Meiss made a big point of this at the presentation
Cant you just wait till its finalised before posting your nonesense.....you might just be surprised.

The re-use of out of date renderings just confirms to me that the consultation was largely a PR affair and also suggests an amateurishness in the management of the process.

I see professionalism in the choice of 52k as it maximises use of the site in the preferred orientation. It also fits with EFC's studies of ticket uptake.

Esk's dreams of 60k+ are just figures conjured from mist. Look at how United and Liverpool continually advertise for hospitality and corporate seats. The demand for such is not always there in this region and, unfortunately, they're the most storied clubs in England.

I think the beef is justified in this instance, the picture they are using comes from the first look at the stadium that have since been superseded. Those earlier prints should be consigned to the dustbin to stop people thinking that the 60k version is what is coming.
