I don’t think Zaha Will ever be an Everton player . The whole package of wages & fee will be well over a 100mil, we aren’t in a position to commit that on one player. And if we ever do, he will need to be a game changer, sure Zaha is, a very good player, but with him being then 27, I just don’t see it. The same could be said of doucoure. He would be a cheaper package but still a big outlay.

It’s interesting the links coming out since the window closed. To the likes of Olmo and depay, funny enough which non of the ITK’s mentioned.

Brands doesn’t like doing much in January, unless we have injuries to Keane & Mina, I think he may wait till the summer, maybe a loan

I’m still hopeful this team will gel and we can push the 6, but I also see a season of the system changing and moving to a 433.

A few things that don't help us have a quick start. Our lame preseason, we need a more intense preseason against better teams to prepare us. Look at City and the RS and who they played. Second most of our signings coming in late means it will take a few months to see our real team.

You think fans wont be booing if next Saturday we lose or draw 0-0? He's spent near £200 million in two seasons!

Expectations are through the roof this season with the top 6 wide open - fans want to see us having a good crack and 1/2 points out of Crystal Palace & Watford is just a repeat of last season.

I can't blame Silva for today as we need to judge once all the new signings are in the side which will be a few weeks - however we still have another quality in that team to be getting wins against these teams.

Aston Villa away follows which is certainly not a 3 pointer looking at the performance they put in against Spurs and should we not be clinical they could easily grind out a 1-0 scrappy result.

I appreciate it sounds stupid with it only being 2 games but for me we have to show that last season is behind us and this year is different and that starts with the inconsistent results especially against weaker teams.

Gbamin aside who was a sub it was the same team as last season mate.

Yet the exact same result and performance - almost identical in fact.

Yes the players aint 100% fit but neither were Palace. I just think we give Silva too much credit at times whereas previous managers like Koeman and Alladyce would be slated for some of our performances against God awful sides.

Cant judge fully on today but next week there has to be improvement especially from an attacking perspective.

Tbh I think it is easier to be solid and slowly improve in the creative areas than score goals but concede loads too. Hopefully over the next few weeks we will start to look better going forward without losing something at the back.
