Don't know enough about him but willing to give him a chance the same as all new signings. His stats look O.K. to be fair and at 23 he still has time to kick on with his game.
Lets at least give him some time before writing him off.

...it really doesn’t work like that, it’s about buying players that fit.

In 1987 we bought an old left back from Manchester City. Paul Power ended up being one of the players of the season and we won the league.

Not all successful signings are high-profile and come with a wow. Iwobi might bomb, but I think it’s wise to wait and see what he’s like before dismissing him.
Eggs I get what you are saying but football has changed, almost unrecognizably, from the 80s. Also the fact you need to go back that far for an example...

40m FFS.

But the team desperately needs a guys who can dribble and has got some pace.
Not CL material but we're getting better all the time.
If he's got the right attitude for Goodison he'll do ok.

Just watch a few videos

He looks alright actually, players do improve you know. I'm quite excited to see him in an Everton Shirt. I dont care what the arsenal fans say, gomes came with bad reviews
With all due respect you’re comparing one of the top teams in world football in Barcelona to Arsenal, a team we were all hoping to compete with and potentially surpass for a top 6 spot this season, therefore I don’t think you can make a fair comparison with us obtaining their cast offs

Having said that Iwobi has my full support and I hope he turns out to be a shrewd signing that proves all his doubters on here wrong.

I think many will prefer to spend it on someone better in the first place. Iwobi is able to provide decent alternative but I think people are hoping for something more than decent at this point. Especially so when compared to Zaha, Neres, Lozano. I can understand the disappointment, especially at 35m?

In fairness Arsenal have Pepe, Lacazette and Aubamayang in their front three, being a 23-year-old who isn't as good as those three isn't exactly a huge knock on him.

Tierney is a talent that there is no doubt, but we’ve already got Digne whose excellent. Millionaire dollar question but will he adapt to the premier league? It’s a massive step up from Celtic.
I think so. Celtic have consistently produced talent that has excelled in the league. VVD is outstanding, that midfielder who ended up at Spurs... even Robertson played youth football for Celtic.

Wanted Zaha, no doubt about it. It's really interesting to see the distribution of opinions on Iwobi. I'm curious to watch him play for Everton.
