We literally did this with Zouma/Lukaku why is it any different now.
Lukaku had just had a season at another prem club. And Zouma had also plenty of game time in the prem for Chelsea and stoke and had played France.
Tomori hasn’t played a minute of prem football, well if he has, he hasn’t played much.

So it’s totally different

So did united pay 45m upfront? If not zaha and Everton are right to be angry with palace over the structure of the deal.
They paid most of it up front. I'm not sure how much exactly is performance related.
Each deal is different. Wilf will be frustrated because he wants to go. His brother will be angry cos he's not getting a big payday.

He should be annoyed with his brother, for not insisting on more clauses not being put in his contract.

The prices being thrown about for zaha have him as one of the best players in the world, he’s not even one of the best in the prem.
As said 2 weeks ago, 40 mil, fair enough but 75+, we are getting had over
Once Palace slapped this kind of price tag on him, he was never moving to an elite club.

At £80m, he'd be the record signing at any of Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool or Tottenham, yet he wouldn't even be a guaranteed starter in any of those teams. I don't know what planet the press are on with this deal.

Bar city and the RS. He would enhance all those other teams.

Palace wanted £50m, and wanted it all up front, it ended up with Man U paying £45m up front, and they then have to pay the other £5m in performance related bonuses, Palace played hard ball with Man U and it paid off, they got the £50m they wanted with £45m of it up front.

lol no I guess it’s possible they are negotiating but I still can’t see it with it being late on in the window and palace are left without replacements

Well to be perfectly honest this is all just my opinion. I could be totally wrong but it isn't brands style to pay over the odds for players but then again I'm unbelievably optimistic for the coming season lol

People will be laffin at us I fear

Palace can't sell him this late surely, they'll be pretty much confirming their relegation. Have they been linked to any forwards?
