Doesn’t seem any movement today, I guess that means we need to switch to other targets. Leaving a frustrated Everton and player, will his heart still be in it for palace. If he really wants the move he needs to hand in a transfer request and lose his cut of the deal.
That would certainly clarify his motivation for leaving.

Great, so don't tell him he can go then?
After he signs, a week or so goes by. He says he's unhappy, wants to play for his boyhood club or in Europe or for £250k a week. We can't match his ambitions etc etc. Choice is;
a) HaHa! Do one. Honour your contract.
b) Look, if an offer at the right price comes, we won't stand in your way.

....and which would you choose?

A few as in the total number, not proportionally. Less are saying otherwise.

I understand some annoyance if he doesn't go to a Champions League club but for any of them to suggest Palace are by any measure close to Everton is laughable.

Tbf I saw a few of them going the opposite direction and praising our history etc. and saying we would def. challenge for europe.

I would agree with you. As I think would most, if not all Palace fans who remember football before 1992.

Deffo option a.
Modern day footballers are mostly a bunch of snakes anyway and need keeping in their place.

Mate, even football after 1992. I never understand how fans can be so delusional about their own club (we have a few of those too).

I should say I am fond of Palace. I live fairly close and always enjoy the away as I can drink in my local before and after.
