The price is £80m. So £65m upfront is not the full amount.
Zaha is central to keeping us out of the bottom 3. We have no deals lined up that require us to sell Zaha. What would we do with the dough with 3 days to go?
Armed insurgents are massing at Thornton Heath to ensure this doesn't happen.

It's too bad Zaha plays for your lot. Some of us here have a soft spot for Palace and I'd much rather us rip the heart out of a team like Newcastle or West Ham. But then again, they have no one we'd really want.

Where are you getting this from exactly?

There's a bit of talk from our end from people who have been reliable in the past that there are talks ongoing.

Supposedly Parish is asking for £65m (I'm not sure if that means all upfront) to get to the table - which is absolutely within his rights. Supposedly Zaha would be open to a move and wages not an issue. Suppose it boils down to whether Everton bite the bullet.

Personally see this rumbling on (even if not picked up on in mainstream media). Suppose we'll see.

The fact we've bid and then there's been no links to anyone else even after it was rejected kind of makes me think we're still in for him and are holding out to see who blinks first.

But if a link to another winger appears in the next day or so I suppose we know the game is up.

You wont get 80mil mate, and any club in world football handing over 65mil in one hit for a player is just unheard of it doesnt happen.
You have a player that doesnt want to be there, get rid to the highest bidder and re-build while there is still a few days left to do business.

We don't want £80m. We want him to stay. That is why the price is £80m.

We need him or someone close to him.

He’s the man when these teams turn up to Goodison with zero ambition to add some creativity to break a team down.

Fulham game last season, didn’t even attempt to attack us just here you go lads, have the ball and break us down.

We couldn’t and they took their chances

What??? Fullham could of been 3-0 up in the first half. They missed some absolute sitters and that sessegnon hit the woodwork from a sitter as well.

They were wide open all game I thought and played some good football at goodison. That was their problem they were conceding to many goals and weren't scoring enough.

It's not hard to work out why palace are desperate for him to stay.

He's just signed a contract last year too which was a completely daft move if he wants to progress his career.

I don't see how a deal can be done here. And the player himself can't really complain because he didn't need to extend his last deal. Sounds like he got some poor advice.

He isn’t mate, come on. He’s central to keeping you in the safety of mid table, but you are still not going down if he leaves. There’s easily 5 teams in this league worse than Palace minus Zaha.
