We’d have a settled back 5 from our final stretch with competition in Mina. Best I would have felt about our team in a long time.

Free Zouma is not going down well in South Africa
Not looking good is it. They have a game today. If he plays in that I can't see us getting him. Shame, because he fits nicely with us, but we'll have someone else in mind also I'm sure.
We have so many good players now that I keep forgetting we have Digne or Bernard or someone, then get all excited at the prospect of how good our squad is getting when I remember.

I honestly am not fussed if he stays at Chelsea he'll be booted on the bench again next summer so screw him.
Providing we sign someone who is used to defending Zonal Marking hopefully we get them in asap.

Exactly. Continuity is important rather than a player coming in and having to build relationships and adapt to our play.
Signing Zouma won’t mean that in the long-term we won’t look at other additions at the back, yet it’s one part of the overall jigsaw.
