If I were a footballer and had a bunch of reporters and fans hanging on my every move and posting about it during the transfer window, absolutely I would just for amusement

Back to the business at hand: Tomori was Reading's player of the year under Lampard who seems to love him. Objectively Zouma's good year at Everton > Tomori's at Reading but selling Zouma would make good business whereas Tomori out for the year would be a loan. It seems as if there's not room for both at Chelsea. If they're not willing to part with Zouma we'd be in position to get Tomori on a loan. I'd want us to do better for a CB to push Mina but he'd be alright as a 4th CB.

what if we take Tomori on loan and then develop him so he replaces Zouma at Chelsea then we sign Zouma because he got replaced by Tomori who had a boss season at Everton.

who knows lol,as said hes been wearing 15,but all just a number,Lampard did say he was going to get as close as pos these 2 games to the starting line up for man utd as he can after him giving as much mins to players as he could,he could who knows make zouma a sub sat

I wanted the lad but if he’s happy to gamble his future at Chelsea enjoy it there kurt no guarantee he plays week in week out

Firstly :D It probably would be fun! How far from Tomori is Gibson besides the obvious year experience... Can we risk having him as back up with Holgate and wait til January to see if Zouma is still happy at Chelsea? Personally I'd prefer it sorted now of course but long term Zouma would be class to get and is still quite young so maybe worth the wait
