Brands is the Daddy, but Silva will be working with the players daily, so he will have input, I imagine Brands makes such a strong case for HIS targets that I doubt Silva would question his judgement.

I like and get the impression that Brands won't be pushed around when it comes to transfers, and he will just walk away if it comes to it. It's just a shame he wasn't here when Moshiri first came in and spent that massive wedge.

We know he's looking right at dave here

I like your optimism, but people keep brushing past the fact that Palace don’t have any reason to sell him at the moment.
Long contract... money in from sale of AWB to Man Utd... He’s clearly their best player... He’ll still be “worth” crazy money in Jan/Next Summer Windows... Hodgson wants to keep him... There’s no incentive for Palace to negotiate.
Unless Zaha himself pushes anything himself then probably need to let this one go now.

That's all fine, apart from the fact that Woy said last week that 'he needs players' and he has already bid for James Mc.

It’s 4-3-3 if he has a Schneiderlin type who prefers to be on his own or 4-2-3-1 if it’s a deep midfielder that works better in a 2. I think.
I think that it’s not really which type of CDM we play with anymore it’s what suits Gylfi the most to play the 4231 and that’s why we are sticking to it. No Gylfi and I think we’d no doubt be playing 433.

Silva still holds Schneiderlin in high regard saying “we could not fault Schniederlin or Davies for how they played against Mainz because they had to play with the young guys” he said this while not mentioning Walcott McCarthy Mirallas or Holgate who also played with the same younger group.

"Hello Joe this is your agent speaking. You've got offers from Germany, Italy, Spain and Holland. Any preference?"

"Wigan please."

I'd suggest he didn't have lots of offers.
Great pies in Wigan, may have swung the deal, and after eating those horses willies in Germany over the weekend I have to agree with his judgement.
