I think the Zaha deal is far from dead and Palace have a big decision to make. Would we have made any offer if the player hadn't expressed any desire to join Everton? I don't think so. Balls in their court now. £60 million and two players (both who they have wanted to sign) is a very good offer for a player that wants to leave.

People seem to assume without Gana-type midfielder (which the vast majority of class teams don’t have) we’d never be able to defend or win games. Confusing.
It's just because of how we play though. Of course there's more than one way to skin a cat, but the options are:

a) Carry on playing the same way, which the manager clearly wants to do, by replacing like for like.
b) Completely change our tactical set up on the eve of the new season, possibly making some our current players obsolete as they don't fit the new style.

It's not that surprising that most people are assuming we'll go with Option A really.

I think Bale has pulled out of the china deal because he is going to go to Bayern Munich. They will probably only sign him on a loan until the end of his contract and pay half his wages, but it is probably he best deal that Real will get for him and he will actually agree to

Assuming we’ll go with Option A whilst forgetting there aren’t many players like Gana on the planet and we’ve not been linked with any.

Option b mate.

Yes indeed, but, if hes a Gana replacement, he cant play RB and DM at the same time.

Something to consider.

But games against lesser opposition who sit back, if Coleman was injured, he could play rb with delph, Gomes and siggy in the middle.

Otherwise he can play DM and holgate can go in at RB

Apparently Keans brother put this on social media
