Indeed you could, but he was fresh to the league, barely spoke the language, was a kid and his position changed when Silva left. He hit a massive bump in the road, and nobody is denying that

Zaha is 26, supposedly “brilliant” and in his prime and.

He’s an erratic player, always has and always will be, you can see that by some of passing. Simple passes going wayward. Don’t really care for all this flick fancy footwork crap, it doesn’t make a player.

All of this can describe someone like Mane as well though. His passing for the most part is shocking, and he wasn’t posting ridiculous scoring numbers while at Southampton either. Put him in big red’s team where he essentially plays as a centre forward and look at him go. It’s all about the system, don’t think many of them are too arsed that his passes often go astray.

Small squad you say?

  1. £10m in 2 installments
  2. Yannick Bolasie returns home
  3. Turkish international free-scoring beaut Cenk Tosun
  4. Tireless midfielder James McCarthy
  5. Belgian wing wizard Kevin Mirallas
  6. The Prince, Oumar Niasse.
Welcome Wilf. Take a bow Marcel. £300k off our wage bill.
Are you in sales ?

seems like lukaku is set to sign for inter now, could start a striker merry go round

Inter turn to Cavani
But have Inter Milan turned their attention to Paris St-Germain's Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani?

Inter have contacted Cavani offering him a 3-years contract of 9m€ per year, according to Gazzetta, therefore abandoning Lukaku option

god damn you BBC, literally 4 minutes after they posted saying that Lukaku was about to sign.

No not quite, what I’m saying is he has far space at Palace than he would at us. Teams play completely different against them will not has compact as they would against us.

They wouldn’t put 2 men on anyone, they just blanket 8/9 players behind the ball, he doesn’t have the creative edge to carve teams open. He’ll run down the wing or try and flick it back and run into a waiting mass of players

Why doesn’t everyone else see this? Just because he’s good (away from home) for palace doesn’t mean he will be good here, where teams set up to do what palace do. Defend deep and break.
