Is it April the 1st?

It comes to something when a Daily Mail 'article' is being used as ammunition.

Unbelievable.

Moyes may well have said he wouldn't mind bringing adebayor or Santa Cruz in on loan, but I hardly think he made a promise to the fans; anymore than he swore on his grandmothers grave and signed a copy of his soul over to Beelzebub himself stating, if I don't get Adebayor you can keep me forever in your infernal fiery domain.

How about a moratorium on sl@gging the club off.

Ok so we aren't setting the premier league on fire and Moyes is having a tough year.

But the relentless attacks on the club recently are just too much.

Agree with that neonleon. Sometimes I could swear that our current bad run comes in just all to handy for some sections of our support. Like they are enjoying the sl@gging off of our club.

I'll never **** the club off. Every club has periods of Bossness mixed with periods of Shiteness. I've witnessed Champion Wins, FA Cup wins and final defeats, Everton trouncing teams and also being trounced at Goodison. I'm as fed-up as everyone else when we get beat. But it's not the most important thing in my life and it doesn't ruin my weekend. All those ****ging the club and team off should just join Toffeeweb. Most people on here have a laugh about the result and performance, anyway

is right.

Here is a quote from an article in the post:

Moyes refused to rule out loan moves for forwards like Manchester City’s Roque Santa Cruz or Emmanuel Adebayor, and would be interested if Arsenal’s Niklas Bendtner became available, although he stressed the latter would be unlikely.

He said: “I think if any of them became available towards us we’d look. But in this window there will not be enough to pick and choose. You might have to take what you can if you need something.

“I would like to add two or three but they will be loan players. We have a few people in mind so we will see how it goes.

“You have to be careful not to think that suddenly everyone arrives here on January 1 because it won’t happen, it will be through the month.

“You can’t just say, ‘that is the one I want’ because clubs don’t let centre forwards out on loan unless they are surplus to requirements. We will see what there is and what we can do.

“Positional wise we could do with a centre forward and we have been short of a wide right for most of the season so I could do with those two positions. Seamus Coleman has done really well but we would like to give him a breather here or there.”

Moyes also said he is still waiting for an answer from Landon Donovan concerning the American’s potential loan move next month, and admitted he may have to look elsewhere if he does not get a response by next week.

I'm struggling to find him promising anything.

is right.

Hang on a minute, have I missed something?

Who, from the Club have said we're looking to sign Adebayor?

Its your random assertions I find 'ludicrous'.

.

This is where I found some one from the Club linking us with Mr Adebayor :)

He didn't link us to the player, he responded to a direct question with a diplomatic answer. What do you want him to do?

And anyway, if Man City are letting anyone go out on loan, we should be signing Jo.............

Anything in particular grinding your gears mate??

i rarely get involved in transfer talk. It's like predicting the weather...it looks like its gonna pour down, then it just.....doesn't.

Wait and see is the name of the game. When there is something to know, I have a sneaking suspicion that we will know, well ahead of the snides. Do we need to make some moves, yes. Do we need to telegraph our transfer intentions and needs? Nah, no, never. You never make your intentions known to your enemy unless it is necessary in satisfying said intentions. Make no mistake about it, every snide reporter with a recorder and everyone out there not wearing Everton blue is the enemy. If I have to wait to find something out for the good of the club, then cool. I can wait. Also, I am not gonna beat up on Moyes or the club. I have vented a bit of game day frustration, and stated that Saha is in danger of being embalmed because he moves and scores about as much a as a corpse, but I am not gonna come down any harder than that. I know absolutely nothing about running a club, so until Everton begin Logistical Intra-Theater Air Cargo movement and airdrop, I am gonna leave it to them, and hope for the best. Gonna don my best blue/pink/vanilla kit and raise hell for the boys in Blue every time we take the pitch. Win, Lose, or draw(mostly draw), at the end of the day we are better, because we are Everton, and they are not.
