Vaughn back - A solution to the effectiveness problem?

By saying he's finding it "frightening" and "afraid" and that he "can't understand the decision".

Along with suggestions on fall outs and all sorts.

That's politicking of the first order that.
No it's not. You're thread title has a question mark at the end. I think it's fairly reasonable to take that as an invitation to air our opinions on Vaughn's return. Which is just what Dave did. Nothing more nothing less.

Davek never just issues a view mate. He's a consummate politician. He weighs up the arguments than makes a political statement with an element of spin in anything he says.

You should know he's thinking five steps ahead of you lad. Because there is ALWAYS an agenda when it comes to Davek saying something.

ALWAYS.

He never says anything off the cuff.

I don't think Moyes will even give Vaughan a sniff at first team football. It took Arteta being banned to get Rodwell playing (and in his best position).
He'll get loaned out again or sold. I think there may have been a bit of a falling out.
Everything will remain the same. Saha will play and we will look like we're playing with 10 men because of the useless lazy [Poor language removed].

My hope for a revival this season is wearing a bit thin now. And my hope for Moyes learning from consistent mistakes is wearing even thinner.

There also was the matter of Rodwell being injured.
It always seemed to me that Moyes plays Vaughan quite a bit. The problem is he's rarely fit enough to be given a consistent run of games.
I think he'll get a look.

THIS. Because one thing we need up front is MOVEMENT and someone prepared to put it around.

Vaughn will certainly give it a shot.

He's perfect for the system we play. He works harder than any of our other strikers. At the very least he will give us pace and movement up front, which is more than we've had with Saha. Who moves less than a car on bricks.

He wont play Vaughan.

He's already come out and said he's sticking with Saha and in addition to that Beckford still has done enough to get a game over him.

He'll also help defensively because of the high pressure he can apply with said work rate.
Is he an elite goalscoring striker? No. But I think he can be effective given good health and playing time.

The way our strikers our currently performing Vaughan should be given a chance along with Beckford because Yak and Saha are awful, they contribute zilch to our team on current form and should both be sold.
