Arias isn’t going anywhere. They’ll have him and Trippier. They don’t like that Vrslwhfjtbfjr guy I can’t spell.
I think vrsalkos still in the middle of recovering from a big injury too. Unless they have someone else don’t see why they would sell

Zouma is the priority signing for me.
He just clicked into place towards the end of the season, after a shakey winter.

I would like continuity.

Kean is an intriguing prospect if we could get him.

We sent key scouting personnel along with Brands himself to attend the Lille v Lyon game in May.

There was someone on that pitch that we are monitoring closely.

Boubakary Soumaré , Gana replacement

If we do get him, I cant see it being far off that price myself.

In a window in which Harry Maguire is going for 80m and Lewis Dunk for 45m, how much do people honestly think a title winning 24 year old CB is gonna fetch?

When you put it like that,...

I would imagine Brands has a price in mind ..not sure he had ideas to spend that but if needs must then I guess we will...

I like Zouma, and in a world where Harry Maguire is worth 60-80m then the number might even be fair, but that is a lot of money...

I can't see us spending 35 to 40 each on the striker, winger and center half. We will have to go cheaper on one of those surely (and i hope it is not the striker).
I
I think our business will include at least one loan. It's not my favourite way of doing things, but it obviously works well for the club and Brands. It may be one of the things that's holding up business, waiting to see which of the positions we can fill with our first choice and then looking to use the loan market for another.

I still wouldn't go above £30m, I'd say neither of those two have gone for those prices, they're still rumours and asking prices. I'd say we bought gomes for £22m and he's a better player so why should we pay less for someone who is also not wanted but at a worse team.

Granted, chelsea may slam the door shut then after I've slagged them off, but they've just lost out on £30m for someone who nobody else is interested in and doesn't feature in their plans.

Let's be honest, he played well for a few months, he was just ok for the first 3/4rs of his time here and his year at Stoke. He's been ok much more constantly than he's been very good.

£45m for Lewis Dunc though, up to £80m for Magiure, prices have gone absolutely ridiculous.
The thing is that top CBs have become scarce so clubs are going to have to pay a premium for CBs these days , started off by the RS breaking the record for Van Dijk , Real paid 49m for Militao , Juve snapped up De Ligt just yesterday for 67m , crazy fee for a 19 year old but he will cost over 100m in 1 years time and that's them now covered for over a decade.
