I'm not panicking but a CB and a goal scoring forward of some kind(either wide or central,) are essential. If we don't get either I will worry.

Not panicking, certainly never expected us to get the two most important players (striker, defender) in in time for pre season to be bedded in for our boss run of easy early fixtures, no why would we want to do that, who do people think we are a club who gets our priorities right, joking arn't you's.

Board would rather save money and wait.

Four weeks to go, a lot can happen although I was hoping for at least one other major addition to Gomes by now.

Personally I don’t feel the adulation Brands gets by some, there’s supporting the man then there is worship (I know a few are having a bit of fun). If he’s here long term then let him do the job to achieve success rather than blow smoke up his backside after only a year.

would love us to sign THREE premier league strikers, and have them battle it out for the one place , like most other competitive teams do..

city with augero and jesus … aguero had to up his game to stay in the team and he did

united have 3 or 4 options, as do Arsenal with both their top strikers ..

we currently don't even have ONE top striker .

how any DOF or manager thinks you can cope in this league without a clinical striker baffles me

I don't think that they do think that mate.
The problem is that nearly every striker worth having wants European football of some description.
Unfortunately , despite a good finish to the season , the 8th placed finish was a disgrace with the players that we had..
Therein lies the problem.
