Is it time to panic?

The fact that West Ham are buying a world class striker for peanuts and we’re left with Bambi-Lewis and Niasse is enough for me. Looking at an 11th place finish the club is a JOKE.
pure bait this thread

Last season was accepted as a transition season for a new manager, playing style and signings.

The closer we approach this season the more I'm lowering my hopes. Even if we make some great signings later on, they'll take time to gel or get match fit etc.

Would have liked a striker too.

At want point do you plan on getting concerned about our transfer dealings?

We've seen heads topple already which is a bit early IMHO but how long do you give Brands/Silva to work their magic for the upcoming season before you start to develop a twitch?

Lots of names linked but not a great deal of action, what are your thoughts?

I am panicking all right.

We need to get our business done early to make sure we hit the ground running.

I remember the heady summer of 2017 when we owned the transfer window in June.

Sandro, Rooney, Klassen, Keane, Pickford, Martina all signed in one mad trolley dash.

Aye lad...them wuz t' days :)

Bungle: permission to panic refused: stop rocking the boat: there are twenty five days left in the transfer window: if nothing has happened to excite you after August 8th. you can tear your hair out: patience please: I can’t promise you Everton will make a great signing, but I think they will. After that there is Father Christmas and the January transfer window to look forward to.

Hang on....I forgot about that.

The windiw closes befire the season starts....not the last day of August :(

It doesn't really bother me now that the window closes before the start of the season.

I don't have much expectation when it comes to getting new players in, but it used to annoy me to see points being written off in the opening weeks because clubs are obsessed with getting list-minute deals.

Yeah much better this way.

At least we never have to worry about somebody doing a Lescott.

I have patience mate, was just gauging opinion. I'm comfortable with how we currently sit and will not be losing my head.

Time is running out though for a quality striker and a centre back.

We’ve been waiting two full seasons for a striker,a top quality one, hopefully we’ll get one in this window. I still think we have a good chance of getting Zouma back permantly, he would do me fine.

Not panicking, certainly never expected us to get the two most important players (striker, defender) in in time for pre season to be bedded in for our boss run of easy early fixtures, no why would we want to do that, who do people think we are a club who gets our priorities right, joking arn't you's.
