Is it time to panic?

At want point do you plan on getting concerned about our transfer dealings?

We've seen heads topple already which is a bit early IMHO but how long do you give Brands/Silva to work their magic for the upcoming season before you start to develop a twitch?

Lots of names linked but not a great deal of action, what are your thoughts?
The future of the club is more important.

Of the players linked, what effect does this have on debt and wages.
Delph at 8m good deal but likely to leave on a free and will join want around 100k a week.

With losses expected in the next set of accounts, and what impact does this have on ffp if we get back in Europe.

The time of hope has past, the time of panic is about to begin, this is a very Everton phenomenon that starts about 4 weeks before the end of the window, ya know 4 weeks left, a stage of the window when almost every other team in the league have done very little business.

I'm not going to panic at all. We have a good squad that can be improved, but if we can't get who we want we should not just throw money at poor signings. I've had enough of that.

I'll put my support behind the club like I always do (sorely tested by Allardyce era) and turn up whatever they do, me having a panic will not change anything.

Last day of the season, about 22:50, I will go into meltdown if we haven’t signed anybody else. Until then, I am going to play the role of the adult, not stamping my little trotters because I am not getting what I want, when I want it.

Asked the same question last week in the transfer thread.. but get told waiting on some domino effect. We have been told we have had months of prep leading to this window.. if that were the case then what is the wait, unless our prep and players selected was misplaced or dependent on other outcomes not in our control.

Panic no.... concern just about.

Don’t talk to me about the window closing time. Last day signings are either a gamble or panic gap moves that luckily can come off and no one can tell me they by design.

Don't see the problem at all. We've signed Gomes and are about to sign Delph. Players need to leave as our squad is massive and full of highly paid no marks. Getting rid of mirallas, besic, jags, bolasie etc means we can sign more players

Well played, @Bungle but I think you're two weeks too early with this thread, by my approximation.

A "Is it time to panic?" thread strategically opened a mere seven days before the transfer window slams shut would have brought many more freak-outs to the surface. Especially if we ain't brought in a new, exotically-named striker by that point.
