Vaughn back - A solution to the effectiveness problem?

We won't be able to loan him out until the January window, at which point he may well go back out...

I'm fairly sure they can still extend the loan even when it is outside of the transfer window for loans and free transfers, as long as he is already at the club, so I think the loan could have been extended. I suppose we'll find out soon enough by whether he's on the bench or not in the next few games.

The loan was not extended. Therefore the "temporary transfer of registration" has now expired. He cannot move twice inside the same window.

He also cannot play for more than two domestic clubs in any one season.

Its in the Transfer and Players Registration regs.

That suggests EFC deliberately didn't extend it.

I find this frightening, tbh. Vaughan is not a composed finisher. He'll give you lots of movement, I suppose, but we have that anyway from Beckford. Unless there's been a huge falling out behind the scenes, and the Yak wont be played again and Moyes has really lost faith in Beckford coming good, I cant understand this move.

Would be quality if Vaughan and Victor was our new strike force and was suddenly amazing out of nowhere. They used to be pretty [Poor language removed] hot for the youth team together circa 04/05.

I don't care if he is only scoring goals in the championship level, at least he is the only striker we have to have scored more than two goals this season, we going to need him showing Saha & Yakubu how to score goals, if he doesn't merit a start against Man City, he is needed on the bench to come on for us in the second half.

Would be nice to see something like this.

I wonder how the fans would react if Moyes paired up Beckford and Vaughan. I'm down like.

That a disingenuous statement right there Davek. Ever the politician lad.

Turned a comment about Vaughn returning into a party political broadcast. Its ace to see you in action sometimes. A consummate pro when it comes to politicking.

I honestly don't know what you are talking about there. I doubt anyone else does either. Except you of course

By saying he's finding it "frightening" and "afraid" and that he "can't understand the decision".

Along with suggestions on fall outs and all sorts.

That's politicking of the first order that.

Rather than just saying he doesn't think Vaughn can fulfil the role - all he needed to say. He's implying its a negative thing against Moyes making a decision even considering him.

Dressed up though in Davek - speak.
