Yes that's till I seen him yesterday but lets face it Gomez was poor too... booked again.....like Holgate they looked very rusty... pre season formality over....I prefer him as cover for Coleman at right back anyway....

yes I know that but I think the lad can cover for Coleman if Kenny goes....

Unfortunately Holgate is a nearly player for me.

Nearly a top right back and nearly a top centreback.

At best he will be 4th choice centreback here if we bring in another.

I see Mina and Keane as competing with each other. Both need pace alongside them and likely Holgate will be competing with whichever pacy CB we sign in this window.

Judging by Chelsea fans comments on Weaintgotnohistory 90% want him to stay. Can't say I blame them, he's definitely CL standard. In the grand scheme of things we got 50mil for Stones and Zouma is a lot better imo. Hope we don't penny pinch on this one, we get him and top6 is way more likely
