I live (relatively) near New Orleans, where voodoo is seen positively as a cultural artifact, and once watched a voodoo act performed at the 50yard line at a home Saints game before kickoff (didn't seem to help), but even for me it's an utterly weird thing to say. It's the sort of thing dumpster-fire attention-whore social media influencers write on IG after a bad breakup.
