ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

The Champion’s League is a Mickey Mouse cup? I’m a Reading supporter and would do just about anything to have a sniff at playing in the CL. My missis is an Evertonian, so I generally support Everton in the Premier League, but can you honestly not see that getting 97 points and winning the CL might just have been a good season?
Yes it is. Don't have to be champions to play in the competition, can lose 4 games on the way and still get a cup. It's a big con.

Why can't they win something on merit, it's always a refereeing decision, genuinely can't remember us getting a decision like that in a big game.

Can’t bring myself to see it but I’d wager it won’t have been a great deal different from Hansen’s handball in the League Cup Final we didn’t get.

EDIT. seen it in news. Disgusting call

My advice is don’t do it to yourselves by watching their games hoping they get beat. We are not their competitors. They are one of the two biggest clubs in the country, one of the biggest in the world. We share the same city that’s it. When you accept this fact it becomes much easier to take.

I didn’t watch a solitary minute of tonight’s game (bar flicking it on at the very end to see what the score was). Had they not been in the final I definitely would have watched. Instead, I put on my earphones and went for a bike ride. Very enjoyable it was.

Nonsense. Just because they are miles better than us. Does not mean we shouldn't ever forget about our competition with them? We just let them take over Merseyside, so we fall into complete obscurity. Give me strength.
I mean, do we forget about it, then turn into Tranmere MK2. Ffs.
We've won the league the 4th most in the country, but we've severely lost our way the past 30odd years - They ARE partly to blame for it.
No, we don't forget about competing with them, we use their success as a much needed volley up the arse.

I gave my son the script aound 19.45 he as I put playstation on and he settled down and with confidence believing Spurs would win and he thought I was being silly.

My words to him dodgy decision then another late on. I heard shouts thats never a pen groans and sighs, then door being shut loudly over the next 2 hours.

No ideas of the score I have avoided TV radio etc, but I know they have won , now got to pop out to morries and keep my eyes off the paper stand and avoid any red attaire.
