Nah, it's about peaks and troughs. Just look at Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal in the past decade (or two) can you can go up and down quite quickly.

Next door neighbour setting off fireworks in celebration. Didn’t know he was a Liverpool fan til the europa league final the other year and lived next door to him for 6 years. His kids have never worn Liverpool kits til they get to final. Driving around with scarfs and flags out his car. Strange breed.

A Geordie girl I work with took her 6 yr old son to his first ever match this season. We worked out that he's been to more games this season than the 3 kopites who were talking about football all day on Friday....
