None of the 3 have really contributed anything to us. Using the money to help fund someone like Lozano and a top striker would help the team immensely.

They’re 3 of our most saleable assets and we’ll need to bring some money in from sales if we’re going to get players who will actually contribute.
The problem is that requires additional spending. That's what I was really pointing out is that our money never seeing use on the field makes sales of those 3 even more of a disaster.

Buying young players and being able to make a profit on them when they don’t work out/don’t contribute anything is hardly a disaster.

See the purchases of bolassie, niasse, tosun and Sandro as examples of disasters.

The problem is we arent making enough in your scenario to come anywhere close to making up the difference. We are probably set to lose 20 on Bolasie 10+ on Cenk and Walcott and maybe close to that on Niasse too. To also get no real production from any of them is terrible business.

I don’t recall that but fair enough if he did. I do think it’s just best to wait and see though.

There’s a long way to go this window. We’ll get what we need. I’m sure of it. Most chilled I think I’ve ever been in a window.

Excited to see the names we get.
I'm right there with you. Confident. Think both Brands and Silva know what's obviously needed in this team. We make the right moves and a couple other teams make the wrong moves, and it could get VERY interesting next season.

I can see him utilising the free transfer/loan market though - purely due to how much top talent costs to buy outright from other teams.
Loan market, yes. But we aren't signing some high priced free agent that isn't REALLY good. Our issue is wages, not transfer fees assuming Mosh continues to support us financially.

Chelsea are only going one way from last season and that’s backwards. Losing their best player and not being able to recruit new ones. Arsenal will struggle to attract players with no champions league football on offer. United have a massive rebuilding job, in a squad big in numbers, but short in quality. It will be between us, Chelsea, United, Arsenal and possibly Leicester for the last champions league place.

I can see wolves getting a bit better, a lot depends on how they can manage the squad for the early Europa stages but I think they'll be there or there abouts too.
