ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

If I were a Liverpool fan I'd be more worried about a club coming in for Mane than Salah. Mane has so much more to his game than Salah. Fortunately for them, though, Salah's reputation is better and he'd fetch a much higher transfer fee, which they could then invest back into the side.

Salah has the profile which suits Madrid so I won’t be surprised to see him go

Also, just like their fans, sound extremely desperate. If at all they manage to win the league after 30 years but with points deductions to a competitor then it will have no value IMO. They will be trolled for generations for that.

Classy as always.

I don’t want either to leave. They’re both playing at their absolute max, they can’t get any better, it’s more likely that they won’t have as good a season next year. Salah has already failed to hit the heights of last season.

I want their big players to get stuck on mega contracts with Liverpool unable to shift them on. As soon as either of them lose a yard of pace they’ll be practically worthless. What we dont want is for what happened with Coutinho where they got a huge fee for him and got to reinvest it in first team players.

We need this team to keep missing out and get to a scenario where the owners can’t afford to buy without selling a mega star but the stars have declined to the point no one wants them for big money.

Guardiola has had the luxury of making a few disastrous signings and blowing £100m and brushing it off as if he had dropped a penny, but no other club in the Premier League can just spend and spend again if they make transfer mistakes on that scale.

Can anybody name a disastrous Guardiola signing ??????

City haven’t even wasted as much as Liverpool did in the Comollo days. Carrol Benteke Lambert Downing Adam, Karius cake and went in a season, Sakho and Can didn’t hang around, they’ve spent an absolute fortune trying to get a decent team together.

Aldo reeks of bitterness because City achieved 4 times in a few years what Liverpool have failed to do in 30 years.

I couldn't agree more with this. Last week I was looking forward to their season being over and the dark cloud lifted from above our heads thats been there since Pickford's error. Thanks very much Barcelona. I hate you just slightly less than I hate them.

I'm glad they've not won the league but winning the European cup will be a killer that will ruin it for me. That said I think if Spurs were playing anyone but them I would say Spurs have their name on it so Im not totally convinced Liverpool are winning it.

For me it won't be a killer though awful on its own accord - its the lesser of two evils over them winning the league although it will be utterly hillarious if they get beat after the "Miracle"

Klopp doesn't seem capable of conjuring up miracles in finals, let's see.

Next they'll demand the final is staged at Anfield for the next 10 years running.

Think they will be weaker if mane and Salah are gone. Good replacements are not guaranteed although they have had a good transfer record in last couple of years
