It's the laughing and belittling that is just so transparent. It's predictable but cringey from supposed neutral professionals.....which they aren't

Christ, I hate that crap so much and it's one of the reasons I'm disillusioned with football. The amount of contempt towards both us and City is disgusting. OK, we're not great, but we are getting better under Silva, he hasn't signed one rubbish player yet, and the likes of Digne, Keane and Sigurdsson deserve some recognition. But no, we're just plucky little Everton, we need to stay in our lane. At least Matt Le Tissier's there representing Southampton, I guess.

It is but at the same time i really hope we can win this one, sets us up well for next season, and Spurs will have to bounce back and win there next game!!

Kenny should be playing in place of Coleman, and Mina on the bench, Zouma deserves the nod over him since it might be his last game for us

Why is Gomes benched?

He played appalling in his last performance prior to getting sent off for a really bad tackle in a loss against the second from bottom team.

Since then, the lad who took his shirt had played well and contributed to 3 excellent performance by protecting the defence superbly to help them get 3 clean sheets.

I’m not sure but I reckon that could be why.
