ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

Just to add a bit of real life context to the idiots who set fireworks off outside the Hilton at 3am...

Hundreds of people will be staying in that hotel......

Maybe a surgeon who has travelled from the U.S to perform an operation this morning. Anything like that..... people who have important jobs that require them to be sharp and alert.

There could be people with heart conditions asleep in bed.....

Just beyond me.... really is.

Erm, We’ve done that too. It went down well on the Forum too.

Not going to lie I'm embarrassed about that firework vid. And even more embarrassed this site would glorify it.
That’s actually fantastic well in boys
Yeah, half arsed effort, I'm mean they should of let the fire alarms in the hotel off as well
.... Would have worked better if it was a 12:45pm kick-off the next day rather than a 4:15pm kick-off lol
I'm proud to support this team.

nerves wise it would be AWFUL but, just imagine city weirdly lost and Liverpool winning going into the 94th minute, then wolves get an offside goal to equalise and the title goes back to city. that would be the best ever

imagine how much crying those pesky reds would do, kopite tears would flood the country

Then the confetti machine goes off by accident.

Not so fast...

I won't be able to rest until and unless City get over the line. It's football when all's said and done and the RS have a lot of authority in their favour, I expected Mike Dean to find some fault with Kompany's goal last night.

It's been quite rotten really since the turn of the year. Watching the RS lose their lead was very amusing but they recovered and just won't go away.

They are like a bad smell that you can't get rid of and it eventually becomes putrid. Hopefully this particular stench will be gone next Sunday evening and we can all breath fresh air again.

That was literally the only way City were winning that match, any other team that sandwich in the area on Sterling is a penalty, as well as multiple fouls on him around the area too. Mike Dean would have found something to blow for if it was a cross into the box, be it a foul or an offside.

Amazes me that top level football security isn’t tighter. How hard is it just to keep hotel locations secret? I’m sure they could make loads of dummy bookings etc.

Mind you they all did that to the Chelsea team before that game in 13/14 and we know how that turned out.

Maybe it was a dummy booking, and they slept soundly in their Formby manor.

So obviously they'll have a prem trophy at Anfield ready to go just in case?

Spot on. He literally gave them nothing whatsoever in the first half. I am not demanding penalties, but there were so many soft free kicks he gave Leicester that weren't awarded to City for the same. Dean will be gutted that he wasn't able to rule out that goal and that Leicester players didn't offer him the opportunity to blow up for a penalty to them. Thankfully Vinny did the biz, and Iheanacho fluffed his lines. I have to say, though, I expected him to add on way more stoppage time at the end. I figured he probably wants Liverpool to win the title, but won't lose too much sleep if they don't as he isn't really a Liverpool fan, just has more sympathies with them.

Normally fear the worst with them, but there is no way they get a result if Salah and Firmino are out. They could find Wolves difficult as well if the pair are missing for that game.

The'y get nothing out of it with them on the pitch mate - it's Barcelona. They played at half capacity in the first leg and beat them 3-0.

Its a wonder the Council haven't erected a fanzone for them by The Arkles so one off RS tourists can experience the 'Speshal Anfield Euro Hype'...street food stalls with 6ft Paella Pans, unemployed drama students on stilts, pickpocket dippers in '5 times baby' masks, faux Evertonian ticket robbers with blue polo shirts. Theres also great potential for a Police Approved Mass Fountain Chucking Session in the Park lake....not the same but they never quite get it right, do they Saurez.

To anybody who thinks Salah and/or Firmino will be a doubt for the Wolves game - you're kidding yourselves.

Klopp is throwing the game tonight in a desperate attempt to ensure they beat Wolves on Sunday and hope that City mess up against Brighton. He knows the tie is lost and will just be happy to avoid a drubbing.

Can't blame him, to be honest. At this point you need to think tactically and put all your eggs in one basket, which for them is the final league game of the season.

Both players 100% start against Wolves in a full-strength side for the RS.

Just hope City win, and all is good with the world.

Watching Mike Dean last night was a very sad day for football..... we've kinda made comments about the officials favouring anything that benefits Liverpool but this really put the icing on the cake..... it was blatant

The game is rigged. He was like Collina vs us in Villareal. He obviously wanted to do his season ticket holding children a favour.....

Sterling should have had a penalty. The soft free kicks Leicester were getting was a joke.

Lets see who referees the game at Brighton eh.....
