ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

Enjoy it, mate. You always get the naysayers criticising the money you've spent but it's only what the top clubs have been doing for years. When you lift the title on Sunday, that's all that counts.
Cheers pal. I take every trophy as though it's our last. Every pot we win is a bonus as we may fall from grace into oblivion of where we once were. United and Liverpool have(generally) become expectant and entitled, I hope I never feel like that because if I do I won't renew my season ticket. I get told by United fans we won't ever be as big as them or win as many trophies. I really don't give a rats arse about being as big or winning as many trophies. I just mention that they are living in the past whilst we are the present and the foreseeable future. It kills them stone dead and they just shuffle off as sick as a parrot.

I thought Spurs at home and United away were unsurvivable. Leicester will be tough, but Id question just how tough. The Arsenal win they had: they played 10 men for most of that game dont forget. And Arsenal are abysmal now - especially at the back.

The can get a draw, of course. But City after the Spurs/United back to back wins are driven.

It is nervy though.

It’s not nervy at all in my opinion. City haven’t looked liked dropping points for ages and will comfortably beat Leicester.

I agree mate, we have raised the bar especially since Guardiola came. I've been going to games since 72 and I've had a belly fully of misery over the years. But the football we play is absolutely incredible at times and I still have to pinch myself all this isn't a hazy dream to wake up into the then reality of a dictatorship with Peter Swales as chairman in charge. Only Evertonions old enough to remember know what I'm on about. Most of you have never seen Everton relegated, I've lost count of how many times we went down, we should have been renamed Manchester yo-yo FC!

I was raised a Bayern fan, he never got the cl we all wanted but it was such a joy to have him. Enjoy the football while he's there. You can win without him, but it's just so enjoyable with him.

My football family honestly goes Everton, Bayern, then Pep. I know he has his detractors and short comings, but really is my favorite manager. The guy is brilliant in my opinion.

Looks like Salah and Firmino won’t be fit for Barca. I wonder what useless fringe player will have the best night of his career and score a hat trick.

Come on that's not going to happen. I understand the mindset. But no one is coming on and scoring a hat trick.

Sometimes I make wild predictions I don't want to happen so I feel like I jinx them. But I feel no need in regards to Barca, I'm more worried about the league. That should also be taken care of too.

...lots of us know what we’re dealing with here, but for those who write them off and for those who prematurely gloat, let last night be a lesson.

Lots of us live amongst them, it’s a nightmare. We are on the verge of houses adorned in flags and banners, windows with Origi and Pickford pictures as eternal hero’s.

Sleepless in West Derby at the thought, I expect it to become reality.

I keep seeing Vardi and his goal threat being mentioned.
Yes he’s a threat with his pace but the City goaly is probably the best at coming off his line quickly.
What about the City goal threat, there’s probably 6 at least.

I expect Leicester to score 1, I think City will score 3 or 4.
The only concern for me is the ref. Sometimes they want to make these big games all about them. Will he send a City player off at the first opportunity.
They seem to be under some kind of order to help the cult.

It’s so far past cheating these days with them that it’s starting to look like blatant and I really do mean blatant match fixing

I've said this from early on in the season. It's blatant. Literally every single game there's something with them - yesterday there were 2 massive examples, with Alexander-Arnold not getting sent off, then the blatant dive which the linesman gave.

The officials have their orders, I'm 100% positive of it, and their not even trying to hide it anymore. This seasons Premier League Football is no less scripted than WWE.
