Today's Football 2018-19 Season

The fact that we were abosolutely appaling and still only lost 1-0 gives me hope. After 30 mins we were in the game but had zero goal scoring threat.
A full, fit first 11 and i don't think they would have given us too many problems but missing Son, Kane, Lamela & Arurier hurt us. Tripper was woeful, Llorente is stealing a living as a professional footballer, Dele couldn't get into the game, Wanyama is finshed due to injury issues & Dier is still 'not right' (no idea what is going on with him).
Vertonghen should be ok for the second leg.
Oh what we would give for a player that can actually cross the ball.

I may be wildly optimistic but i think we will make the final although if we play against Barca like that and it would be a cricket score.

If RS play Ajax in the final they will win. Sorry.

He does but he also doesn't. He is right that without hard work you have no chance but he's naive if he thinks 11 guys randomly running hard for 90 minutes with no system or direction would win matches. Tactics do matter but they aren't everything.
