Think the Leeds player got the ball outwide then appeared to stop as if it knock it out. Villa players then all stopped and the Leeds player then played the through ball for the goal.
Knew what he was doing like and it was bad sportsmanship especially with Villa having knocked the ball out earlier so a Leeds player could get treatment.

Its not the fact that they didnt put it out, its because the leeds player slowed the play down by the touchline like he was goinb to put it out, the Villa players stopped and he carried on.

Leeds were entitled to play on and I for one hate this practice of putting the ball out.

However, as you say, the fact he pretended to do so was harking right back to the Dirty Leeds era.
