Former Everton Centre Forward Duncan Ferguson steps into management.....

Bloody Hell Big Dunc, it's a whirlwind ride. Smash Sunderland and then pick up no more points after playing well in bits. I hate to say it out loud, but the green shoots of recovery are there. Just get to the end of the season with the minimum of fuss and try and get a head start on next season. There may be one or two players there that can play Dunc's expansive free flowing football so not a total clear out. The sooner they get to it the better.

Tasty semis. I remember that 2012 semi final between the blue artists and the red thugs. No love lost there - the game which repelled a nation and bought unrivaled shame on LFC. For shame!!!!

BOND: FERGUSON DESERVED MORE TIME

Former Fylde box to box midfielder Andy Bond who played under Ferguson believes the ex-manager deserved to see out the season with The Coasters.
"He got us believing in ourselves and playing a style that we never thought we could play. He knew how to get the best out of all of us and the likes of myself and Cardle who were coming towards the end of our careers, he gave us that final boost to help finish our careers on a high. He came to see me shortly after I announced my retirement and begged me to reconsider. He said he would get another solid season out of me and it was hard to turn him down. He has a way of inspiring you and his aura says you wouldn't want to upset him. The lads at the club were all gutted he was let go. Believe me, they were working their hardest but I think the League is too big for them at the moment."

Danny Rowe was one of Ferguson's key components to success finishing top scorer for The Coasters but has since found himself frozen out since Barton took the reigns.
"Rowey is not having a great season" Bond says "He's found himself struggling to get into the matchday squad but we all know the magic he has and he can turn half chances into goals. Fylde have missed him this season. It does look like we are heading back down but the big man should've kept his job."

Andy Bond was speaking to Fylde fanzine editor before The Coasters took on Blackpool.

Barton will probably go and give Bondy a good beating now

Good on you Bondy lad. I bet big Dunc is sobbing his heart out over what Barton has done since he got there. It's not fit to be called football.
