When you are my age it is so frustrating to compare what we had years ago but there again I have been lucky to see us win things in the past.

REally can't remember. Ii was a I-0 win, I think v Spurs(with Ted Ditchburn, Eddie Baily,etc) around 1948/9 or 1950. Maybe a stats man can remind me? That was the first game I saw. I was born in 1941, so does wartime football count?

Honestly can't remember. I would have to dig out the program. All I can recall was Alan Ball's white boots. "Dad, can I 'ave a pair?", "White? Boots are supposed to be black."
