this is a top league. every game is different and hard you need top players in this top league unfortunately we dont have that many top players we have digne as a top player and richarlison whos not so consistent. we need to give him 1-2 more transfer windows then we can judge him.

Can see they have worked hard on the defending on that brake. 2 clean sheets, wasn't all zonal as well so can see there addressing it.
Good stuff today, very positive

The 442 when we were pressing high was ideal there, nice to see the team defending as a unit with some discipline.

Some good individual defending the few times they did get behind to prevent any goals too. That Michael Keane challenge on Salah is the best thing he’s done in a blue shirt.

Didn’t have the quality to get the winner but still gutted to not have nicked something. Would have been good to see Gomes and Richarlison on at the same time and Lookman just given Walcott’s slot in the lineup already but it’s nice to see some decent structure back in the side.

Still fuming about that free kick at the end tho and not having a right footer to swing it on goal instead of the outswinger.
