ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

There's no arguing against that!

It's why I;ve been of the mind all along this season that I'd like to see them go on to maybe even the SF stage (by a favourable draw obviously). They'd go out at that stage against any bona fide Euro power, and the extra games would have been difficult for them with the PL in mind too. That's why I wouldn't mind if they sneaked the return against Bayern. We can kill two birds with one stone if they progress two stages further.
Dave have you forgotten how much rub of the green, offside decisions, penalties for diving, bad referee performances, they get??
I get what your saying but no way I want them progress any further!! That gets them closer to winning two trophies

Even taking all that into account they will be mullered by any top team. My own personal wish is that they draw Madrid again next round and Madrid knock seven bells out of the crying arse gets.

I can see what you mean extra games for them are vital I think .Esp as city are going for 4 trophies but it is a genuine catch 22 but we have all seen how unbelievably lucky they can be at times so I would want them knocked out but then again they would have rest days for the league ? but yet again it overshadows how awful we have been because at this stage of the season were hoping they don't win things instead of looking forward to our matches

City have the squad to compete for 4 trophies, and are yet to play a quality team in any of the cup competitions, so they will be o.k. Plus, Liverpool, nowadays, are serial pants cackers.

Yes agree with you about city's squad and again about not really playing quality in cups yet but as much as I don't like to say it mate Liverpool have some good players no getting away from that so fingers crossed that you right

I am still appealing a club ban ,from last season's derby match.

They insist I shouted that Klopp was ' A nazi fer. What I actually said was 'Klopp you nasty fer.

My solicitors from Sue em Grabbit and Run, are now on the case.

Anyone wanting them to go through just so they'll have more games is mental. Roma and Porto are both useless, and one of them will go through. Tottenham are likely through, and Liverpool usually get good results against them. Liverpool have had mixed results against PSG already this season, who are almost certainly through, and could definitely beat them over 2 legs.

I want these rats out of this competition ASAP. My health does not need to be put through what is was last summer. Even though the end result was glorious, I don't want to roll that particular dice again.

Bayern, please kill these off and cripple their confidence.

Agree with the above. Stake through the heart, the only way to kill them off.

I don't think that's the case, I think it's more that a score draw sends them through. They don't have to go to Bayern and win to progress. The real question is, can Bayern stop Liverpool scoring? If Liverpool score then Bayern must win the game in 90 minutes. Like i said, it's finely balanced as i'd expect both teams to score over there, it's just whether or not Bayern can get the win.

Bayern at home, the RS dodgy at the back, I would say the real question is can the RS stop Bayern scoring more than them.
